What watch details can WJewel keep?
Set a style's Item Type to Watches and its Watches tab opens: brand, model, year, reference number, serial number, SKU, UPC and MPN, gender, condition, metal, authenticity, box and papers, and an inspection comment. Then the case (material, color, finish, back, crown, shape, diameter, thickness, water resistance and water testing), the dial (color, markers, material, crystal, luminance), the movement (movement, calendar, power reserve, functionality), the bracelet or strap (type, material, color, links, length, width), indices and hands, and picture links for the front, side, back and serial number.
Can I track each watch by its serial number?
Yes. Every watch is its own item with its own stock number, cost and history, and the reference and serial numbers are stored on it, so you know exactly which watch was sold, returned, sent out for service or put on memo.
Does WJewel handle watch repairs?
Yes. A watch repair is a repair order like any other: your own repair codes or Geller Blue Book codes, a deposit, a job bag that follows the job, and a text or email to the customer when it is ready. With the self check-in tablet, customers can drop off jewelry or a watch for repair at the counter.
Can I sell Jewelers Mutual care plans on watches?
Yes. Set up your Jewelers Mutual care plans by price range, with separate plans for watches, and add the right plan to the sale on the invoice.
Can I sell watches online?
Yes. List a style on eBay or Etsy from the program, and sell through Shopify or your own website from the same inventory. Each watch can also carry its own eBay price, eBay minimum, Amazon price and in-store price, plus listing, shipping and returns settings.
Can I buy pre-owned watches from customers?
Yes. A cash-out records what you bought from a customer, piece by piece, and pays them by cash or check with a printed receipt. Add the customer by scanning their driver's license. You can also take a watch as a trade-in on a sale.
