Taking in a consignment

Customers leave their jewelry and watches with you to sell, and get paid once they sell. WJewel handles it from start to finish. Add Quick Consignment is under Payables, Consignments. A walk-in seller becomes a consignor in seconds. New Vendor copies their name, address, phone and email from their customer record. Then scan or type each piece: the description, category and brand, what you will pay the owner, your price, and the lowest price you will take. Tick Print Tag, and a tag prints for every piece as you save.

When it sells

The piece sells at the counter like anything else in the case. Consignments Sold But Not Billed shows what sold from each consignor. Pick the rows and click OK. WJewel issues a vendor PO for what sold, and prints the report for the owner. Add A Bill Based On Vendor PO turns it into a bill for what you owe them. And Issue A Check pays the owner, like any other bill.
