Meet Ask AI

Ask AI is the built-in AI assistant in WJewel. You type a question about your store in plain English, it answers from your live data, and then you keep talking.

Step 1: ask

Step one: ask. The whole interface is one box. “How many S1's did I sell?” The answer comes back in a sentence, 317 units and $2.5 million in sales, with the data row underneath, so the number is auditable. And typos are fine: the question was typed in lowercase, with no punctuation, and it found the style anyway.

Step 2: follow up

Step two: follow up. “Break it down by year, and show me sales and profit.” Ask AI remembered what “it” meant, and returned eight years of sales and profit.

What it noticed, without being asked

And it added what it noticed, without being asked: 2026 shows unusually high sales, possibly future-dated or mis-dated transactions, 2020 carried a small loss, likely one item sold below cost, and profit has trended up from 2021 through 2025. A report hands you a grid. Ask AI reads it back, and tells you which rows look wrong.

What people ask it

It understands the vocabulary of the jewelry business. People ask things like: what hasn't sold in over a year, and how last month compared to the same month last year, who the top 20 customers are, and which haven't bought in six months, and which vendor gives the best margin.

Built in, not bolted on

It's built in, not bolted on: part of the same platform as your point of sale, inventory, repairs, CRM and accounting, it answers from your live database, in real time, and it reads only your own store's records, honoring the user permissions you've already set.

Quick answers

It doesn't replace your reports: they stay for the documents you print or send. And there's nothing technical to learn. If you can ask a question in everyday English, you can use it.
