Ten new features
We've added ten new features to WJewel, for the counter and the back office, and they all work for retail stores, wholesalers and manufacturers. Here are all ten: text-to-pay links, a customer portal, Ask AI, and the full program in your browser, on any device, your phone as a barcode scanner, bank transactions downloaded, scheduled tasks, and forecasting how many to order, plus the Stuller API integration, and the WJewel API.
Get paid by text or email
First, get paid by text or email. Send a secure payment link from WJewel. The customer opens it on their phone or computer, and pays by credit card in a few taps. For a store, that's the balance on a repair or a special order. For a wholesaler, it's the account whose check is always in the mail.
The customer portal
The customer portal lets customers look up their own account, any time, from any device. Retail customers see their statement, open layaways, repairs and special orders, and can make payments. Wholesale accounts see their orders, statements, open invoices and repairs, and can pay too. That means fewer “what do I owe?” calls, and answers at 10 p.m. Ask AI is built in: type a question in plain English, and get the answer from your own live data in seconds.
Runs in your browser, on any device
The web version runs in Chrome, Safari and other browsers, on PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone and Android. It's the full program, with nothing to install.
Your phone is a barcode scanner
And your phone is a barcode scanner: tap Scan, point the camera at the tag, and build invoices and memos right where the jewelry is. Bank transactions now download straight from your bank, so you can reconcile without retyping.
Scheduled tasks
Scheduled tasks run on their own: customer statements, emailed reports, QuickBooks Online syncs, and alerts about past-due memos.
Forecasting: how many to order
Forecasting now shows how many of each style to order. For a store, that's a quantity for every line on the reorder and the seasonal buy. For a wholesaler or manufacturer, it's how many to order or make before the casting run.
Stuller API integration
If you buy from Stuller, WJewel downloads Stuller's catalog, all of it or just the parts you want, with Stuller's diamonds and gemstones. And on any Stuller style, one click shows Stuller's description, cost, retail price, metal weight and pictures. Tick what you want, and it's copied over.
The WJewel API
And the WJewel API lets other software work with WJewel directly. Your website can add a customer to WJewel when someone signs up, or check whether a piece is in stock.
